Individualized Instruction: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of visually impaired students, focusing on areas such as Braille literacy, orientation and mobility, and the use of assistive technologies.. Assessment & Progress Monitoring: Conduct functional vision assessments and regularly monitor student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed to support academic and social-emotional development.. Assistive Technology Integration: Provide instruction and support in the use of assistive technologies to enhance learning experiences for visually impaired students.. Proficiency in Braille and other tactile learning tools.
