D. or M.S. in Civil Engineering or a closely related field is required with the ideal candidate qualified to teach undergraduate courses in structural engineering or geotechnical engineering as well as other introductory civil engineering courses.. The successful applicant will have a passion for undergraduate engineering education, assist in program development (course and curriculum development and program assessment), mentor engineering students, especially during their capstone design projects, develop and foster relationships with industry, and recruit and advise students.. Ability to teach across the undergraduate civil engineering curriculum preferred with an emphasis in geotechnical engineering or structural engineering. Adult Education/Evening Instructor. The Lead Instructor duties may include teaching paramedic or AEMT course(s) and/or assisting in coordination of the didactic, lab, clinical and/or field internship instruction.. The Lead Instructor role may also include providing leadership for course coordination and supervision of adjunct faculty/instructors.. Successful completion of an EMS Academy-approved EMS instructor course. Certification/Licensure MO licensure as EMT-Intermediate or Paramedic.
