Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months academic advising or student services experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree. Higher education administration, student development, or counseling.
Work closely with Health Science faculty to identify at-risk students in need of student services on Campus and engage at-risk students in early alert.. Work closely with services for students including, but not limited to: tutoring, math, reading, writing and computer labs, Career Services, Disability Services, student clubs/organizations and Financial Aid. Assist in the development of advisement approaches for changing student populations including minority students, non-traditional students and at-risk students.. Two (2) years' experience in academic advising, higher education working with students, customer service or related field..
