The Early Childhood Education Teacher (ECECT) will plan, implement, instruct and assess for the long-term success of the ECEC; will utilize the curriculum as a foundation for lesson planning and assure there is healthy and safe environment for the children and families served. The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, school age care, child development or other child-related field; will consider individuals with an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education currently working towards a bachelor’s degree. Candidate will be required to have a valid certificate in pediatric first aid, including CPR. Thorough knowledge of normal child development and early childhood education, as well as knowledge of indicators that a child is not developing typically.
