The Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at UCSF is seeking a Health Professional Educational Specialist 3 to provide extensive administrative and operational support to the Department’s clinical training programs – ACGME – Psychiatry & Law Fellowship Program, medical student education, and residency training programs. The UCSF Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences is among the nation's foremost resources in the field of child, adolescent and adult mental health. The Department has an organizational structure that crosses all major UCSF sites – Parnassus, Mission Bay, Zuckerberg San Francisco General (ZSFG), San Francisco Veterans Affairs Medical Center (SFVAMC), and Laurel Heights. Following a year-long strategic planning effort that was co-sponsored with the leadership of UCSF Health, the Department Chair and Associate Chair are leading a multi-year implementation of Psychiatry’s strategic plan for significant expansion of mental health services within UCSF Health. Additionally, the Education Program Administrator will oversee the Limb Preservation Fellowship Program, Heart and Lung Transplantation & ECMO Program, Podiatry Student Rotations, Vascular Surgery Grand Rounds, Cardiothoracic Surgery Grand Rounds, Thoracic Tumor Board, and other related educational initiatives.. This position requires a thorough understanding of policies from the Office of Graduate Medical Education, the Office of Continuing Education, the Medical Center, the Dean's Office, the Division's policies, and the Department of Surgery at UCSF to resolve issues and ensure compliance with institutional accreditation and regulatory policies.. Our surgeons provide care at locations throughout greater San Francisco, including UCSF Medical Center at Parnassus (Moffitt-Long Hospital), UCSF Medical Center at Mt. Zion, UCSF Medical Center at Mission Bay, UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital in Oakland, Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital, Trauma Center (ZSFG), San Francisco Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center, and Alameda County Medical Center in Oakland.. Our residents also rotate through UCSF Medical Center, Kaiser Permanente, and California Pacific Medical Center.. Proficient in institutional applications including Myexpense, Bearbuy, Connexxus, Peopleconnect, Mytime, JDxpert, Brassing, Zoom, Smartsheet, WIKI, Drupal, Medhub, Qualtrics etc.

Manage inventory of course supplies; order course supplies for hands-on workshop through various vendors, the main clinic and dispensary.
