Basic FunctionHF Sinclair is seeking a Commercial Origination Manager, Crude Oil in Dallas, TX who will be focusing on partnering with internal and external customers/suppliers to develop, negotiate and execute commercial strategies and agreements under the Commercial Refining organization.. This position manages the advanced and complex analysis needed to develop, evaluate and formulate growth strategies related to supply, trading and transportation of Crude Oil. Key to this role is understanding customer needs, identifying new customers, working closely with internal stakeholders and developing business strategies.. Understand trading principles and exposure risk for crude oil.. Prepares material to support approval of proposed transactions and obtain transaction approvals on a timely basis, with focus on balancing long-term strategies and gains with near term activities Evaluates opportunities through financial feasibility studies, market research and planning, including complex modeling of financial opportunities, cash flow analysis and value at risk.. Petroleum refinery, warehouse/plant environment including but not limited to chemicals, pressure vessels, tank, rotating equipment.
