Summary: The Senior Accountant has a responsibility in supporting the Accounting Manager in meeting departmental goals and objectives and assisting with the development of work flows, policies, procedures, and internal controls within assigned area.. Internal reporting includes completion of financial statements from the trial balance; budget reports, productivity reports, cash flows and other special reports.. Also includes the completion of reports to Federal, State and local agencies, and reinsurance companies and brokers.. Monitor the accuracy of the general ledger and accounting sub-systems..
