Work location : onsite @ our facility located on the grounds of IAH - Houston Intercontinental Airport. Proficient in using computer and basic software such as Microsoft, create and maintain trending charts, SOP’s, use of calculator, weight scales, and thermometers, metal detector, ATP testing equipment, mechanical food portioning and processing equipment.
Communicates changes in patient's clinical condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and co-workers as appropriate.. Receives physician's orders, ensures transcription is accurate and documents completion.. Administers medication utilizing the five rights of medication administration reducing the potential for medication errors.. Provides end of shift report to oncoming nurse, narcotics are counted, documentation is complete, and physician orders signed off.. Identifies and addresses psychosocial needs of patients and family; communicates with Social Service/Discharge Planner regarding both in hospital and post discharge needs.

A duty station will be assigned in East Hartford, with opportunities for hybrid remote work (three days on-site and two days remote) and a flexible work schedule between 35 and 40 hours per week.

Manage the Quality laboratory processes and personnel, including hiring, disciplining, performance evaluation, training, and development. This also includes complying with required testing procedures, metrology and standard testing compliance. A degree in a technical discipline is strongly preferred; a focus on chemistry, supply chain, or engineering would be a significant advantage. Three to five years of experience in quality assurance are required; some of this experience may have been acquired at a chemical or petrochemical producer, pharmaceutical manufacturer, or oil and gas.
