Assumes 24-hour operational and technical accountability for activities in compliance with established policies, procedures, and standard work for the Sterile Processing Department(s), including decontamination; preparation, packaging, and disinfection or sterilization; and appropriate transport or sterile storage. In lieu of this, completion of an Administrative Fellowship in Healthcare Administration-with a rotation in Sterile Processing-will be considered. Current or previous Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) from the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) from the CBSPD is preferred.
