RNAC MDS Coordinatorfor our Skilled Nursing Facility. MDS coordinator certification. Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations and coverage guidelines as related to skilled nursing.. MDS will need to be familiar with the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) to gather information from residents and their families during initial and periodic interviews.. The MDS covers such areas as the patient's mood, behavior patterns, cognitive ability, and nutrition needs.
The CNA - CSR assists with patient cleaning, feeding, and preparation for treatment, takes and records vital signs, changes bed linen, prepares treatment trays and other supplies, and assists nursing service personnel with a variety of other patient care duties.. including computer/telephone requests for Housekeeping, Linen Services, Plant Operations, Lab, X-ray, EKG, etc.. A safe, comfortable, and therapeutic health care environment is maintained by cleaning rooms and equipment, preparing for sterilization and disinfection, promptly reporting damaged equipment and other problems to appropriate personnel, and efficiently and properly handling linen and supplies at all times.. Input for end of shift reports and CIS documentation is provided, and participates in unit quality assurance programs in an effort to enhance the quality and efficiency of unit services at all times.. Inter-departmental errands (e.g., transporting lab specimens, picking up patient medications from pharmacy) are run for nursing personnel in an expedient and professional manner.

Under the clinical supervision of the Director of Nursing, the incumbent is responsible for delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.. Prior to accepting a referral, carefully review the resident’s Skilled Nursing Facility eligibility for Medicaid/Medicare/Insurance in the Eligibility portals.. Ensure that only referrals that have Skilled Nursing Facility coverage are accepted.. Ensure the correct billing address is in PCC for any outstanding balances acquired.
ResponsibilitiesPerforms direct and indirect patient care responsibilities as assigned by the case manager or Clinical Coordinator.. Perform baths, linen changes, shampoos, shaves, mouth care, and nail care.. Communicate all pertinent information to the case manager.. LICENSURE, REGISTRATION, CERTIFICATION: BLS certification must be obtained within the orientation period, and certification must be kept current while in this position.. EXPERIENCE: Current skills and knowledge obtained from the completion of an approved Nursing Assistant program or certification preferred.
The Clinical Research Coordinator I (CRC) will work in the Craig-Dalsimer Division of Adolescent Medicine at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and PolicyLab in the Research Institute..
