The North Slope Borough School District is seeking Special Education Paraprofessionals to support students with disabilities under the supervision of Special Education Teachers in Utqiaġvik. The role provides instructional support and helps deliver the free and appropriate public education mandated by law.
Duties include assisting intensive level students, supporting personal care, small-group instruction, tutoring, classroom management, parent involvement, and library/computer lab tasks.
