Accounts Receivable Specialist

Schedule: Fully onsite, five days per weekEmployment Type: ContractPay Rate: $30/hourBenefits: This role is eligible for medical, dental, vision and 401k.

Requirements: 2+ years of accounts receivable experienceExperience with invoicing, cash applications, and account reconciliationStrong collections and customer follow-up skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting softwareAbility to work onsite in Baltimore five days per weekAvailable to begin a contract assignment promptlyResponsibilitiesGenerate and distribute customer invoicesApply cash receipts, ACH payments, checks, and credit card paymentsMonitor aging reports and follow up on past-due accountsResearch and resolve payment discrepanciesReconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate account balancesCommunicate professionally with customers regarding outstanding invoicesAssist with month-end close and accounts receivable reportingMaintain organized, audit-ready documentationPartner with accounting and operations teams to resolve billing concernsThe ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, fully onsite environment.
