Job Summary:
Seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to support custom automation projects involving PLC/HMI programming, controls software development, machine commissioning, and customer support.
Must-Have:
- SkillsPLC/HMI programming
- Beckhoff experience strongly preferred
- Rockwell/Allen-Bradley with Structured Text or C# considered
- Cognex vision systems is a plus
- Custom automation experience
- Controls software development and debugging
- Electrical/control panel understanding
- Robot programming, VFDs and servo applications
- Device communication networks such as Ethernet/IP, PROFINET, PROFIBUSStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Travel / Schedule
- Based in Nashville, TN40–50 hrs/week during design50–60 hrs/week during commissioning
- Design-to-commissioning timeline: approximately 16–18 weeks
- Installation in Baja, Mexico6–8 weeks onsite in Mexico per rotation
- Valid U.S. passport required
- Willingness to travel and work onsite 5 days/week required
