Successful Candidate The successful candidate will want to acquire the skills and confidence needed to become a proficient litigator by handling his or her own docket with readily available hands-on guidance and mentoring. What you will need to have: Juris Doctor degree (J.D.) from an accredited law school 2-3 years of experience Licensed to practice law in New York State Interest in litigation Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in an effective manner.
