An established construction company is seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to primarily estimate demolition projects while providing project management support. The role involves estimating interior, selective, and full-building demolition, as well as environmental remediation, lead and asbestos abatement, and site restoration projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare project estimates, cost budgets, and bid proposals.
Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, subcontractors, and general contractors.
Attend pre-bid meetings and conduct job-site visits.
Assist with project coordination, change orders, and cost negotiations.
Monitor project profitability and prepare financial and progress reports.
Manage bid documentation and support government and commercial bidding opportunities.
Qualifications:- Strong experience in construction estimating, particularly demolition projects.
- Significant hands-on field and job-site experience.
- Knowledge of construction project management, cost control, and bidding procedures.
- Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Building
- Connected or HeavyBid is preferred.
- Asbestos abatement credentials or contractor licenses are a plus.
Work Arrangement:
