Production & Operations Coordinator$55,000–$60,000 | Salt Lake City, UT | Full-Time, In-OfficeWe are recruiting for a global company that partners with some of the world's most exciting brands to create custom merchandise, gifting programs, events, packaging, apparel, and unforgettable brand experiences. We're looking for a Production & Operations Coordinator to join their team and help make sure those projects move from concept to completion without missing the details along the way. This is a great opportunity for someone who is highly organized, naturally proactive, comfortable with technology, and enjoys keeping multiple moving pieces on track.
What You'll Do:
Working closely with the Director of Operations and sales team, you'll help coordinate projects from approved concept through final delivery. You'll be responsible for the details, keeping timelines moving and making sure orders are accurate and delivered as planned.
Your responsibilities will include:- Manage orders: Create purchase orders, place supplier orders, and verify pricing, quantities, specifications, decoration methods, and shipping details.
- Track production: Monitor schedules, manage deadlines, and stay in regular contact with vendors to keep projects moving.
- Follow up: Confirm details, get answers, track approvals, and make sure everyone stays on schedule.
- Check the details: Review order acknowledgments, proofs, samples, and production documentation to catch discrepancies before they become issues.
- Keep information organized: Maintain accurate project information across internal systems so the right people have what they need.
- Coordinate fulfillment: Support inventory, warehousing, kitting, fulfillment, and shipping for projects with multiple moving parts.
- Handle problems: Help resolve unexpected vendor issues, shipping delays, timeline changes, and other challenges that come up. Improve processes: Support the Director of Operations and look for ways to make processes more efficient and organized.
- What They're Looking ForThe right person will be someone who takes ownership, notices the details, and doesn't need to be constantly reminded to follow up. You may be a strong fit if you: Are highly organized and enjoy keeping things on track
- Notice the missing detail, incorrect number, or deadline that others might overlook
- Can manage multiple projects at once without losing track of the details
- Are comfortable following up with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams
- Learn new technology and software quickly
- Communicate clearly and professionally
- Can prioritize and adjust when plans change
- Take initiative rather than waiting for instructions
- Enjoy the satisfaction of knowing everything has been handled
- Experience in production, purchasing, logistics, project coordination, promotional products, print, apparel, order management, fulfillment, or a similar environment is a plus.
- That said, the hiring team is also open to someone who has strong organizational skills, good judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to learn quickly.
- Why Consider This Opportunity?
- This isn't a position where you'll sit back and wait for someone to tell you what to do. You'll have real responsibility and ownership over projects that are seen by major brands and their customers.
- You'll work closely with an experienced operations team, have the opportunity to improve processes, and play an important role in helping a growing company deliver high-quality work.
- If you're the person people count on to keep things organized, follow through, and get the job done, we'd like to hear from you.
