Application Engineer

Overview: We’re seeking a sharp and resourceful Application Engineer to join our growing team in the renewable energy space. Whether you come from an engineering, construction, or technical background, you’ll gain hands-on experience across the entire project lifecycle while learning the business side of clean energy. What You 6ll Do: Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, technical, and commercial teams to develop smart, cost-effective solutions. Support project development by ensuring designs are accurate and aligned with timelines and pricing. Provide technical input on layouts, schematics, and system optimization to reduce costs and improve performance. Lead the proposal process for RFPs, including drawings, technical specs, pricing, and timelines. Craft clear, customized proposal content tailored to each project. Integrate incentives and rebate opportunities (SRECs, tax credits, SGIP, etc.) into proposals. Anticipate and resolve technical or scheduling concerns before they become roadblocks. Lead meetings with internal teams and subcontractors to align on project complexity and goals. What You Bring 1+ year of experience in construction, engineering, or a related technical industry. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. A collaborative mindset and the ability to navigate multiple stakeholders.
