About the role:
This is a hands‐on design role. You will own the electronic hardware from concept through prototype and into production, turning product requirements into schematics, circuits and manufacturable boards, then taking each design through verification and test. You will work in a small team where your decisions shape the product, and you will move fast.
Key responsibilities:- Drive schematic capture and lead PCB layout, including component selection, footprints and BOM management
- Run circuit simulation and analysis covering power, signal integrity, timing and thermal considerations
- Design power supplies, sensor interfaces, communication interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, USB, Ethernet) and microcontroller subsystems
- Bring up and debug prototypes in the lab using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and other bench equipment
- Collaborate with firmware, mechanical and test engineers throughout the development cycle
- Prepare design documentation and review packages, and support DFM and cost reduction
- Ideal profile
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience 3+ years of hands‐on electronic circuit and PCB design experience
- Proficiency with a schematic and PCB design tool such as Altium, Cadence or KiCadSolid grounding in analog and digital fundamentals, power electronics and high‐speed design
- Comfortable debugging hardware at the bench with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and similar instruments
Preferred qualifications:- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experience with Ansys HFSS, SIwave, Icepak or CSTExperience taking products through the full lifecycle to volume production
- Familiarity with signal integrity and power integrity analysis tools
- Python scripting for design automation or data analysis
- Exposure to EMC and regulatory compliance testing
