Field Service Engineer

Our client is in search of a Field Service Engineer to support their operations as a world leader in explosion protection systems. The compnay specializes in explosion protection solutions which detect, suppress, isolate and vent potential combustible dust or vapor explosions within process industries. The company is targeting a candidate with a strong background in Electrical/Mechanical systems with preferable experience in fire protection systems. The Engineer will travel to local customer locations to commission, maintain, and troubleshoot life-saving products and equipment, as well as provide client education. The technician must be analytical and possess the skills to diagnose possible malfunctions within the explosion suppression systems. You must be able to diagnose and analyze equipment issues and breakdowns. The ideal candidate is comfortable maintaining and accurately transcribing performance and data collection as well as maintaining a friendly customer service attitude. Any knowledge of Ladder Logic (to include PLCs or VFDs) is a plus but not required.
