Job Description: Kitchen Associate $16.50/Hour starting pay
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Associate to join our team at Krispy Krunchy Chicken within the Triangle Stop on Upward Road, a fast-paced, high-energy chicken restaurant. As a Kitchen Associate, you will play a key role in preparing our signature chicken dishes and ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. You will report to the Kitchen Manager or shift supervisor, we have a supportive and inclusive team environment. We offer on-the-job training.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook chicken dishes following established recipes and safety standards
- Operate kitchen equipment such as fryers, ovens, and grills
- Ensure food is cooked to the correct temperature and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen areas
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
- Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing kitchen supplies and ingredients
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and quality
- Perform cleaning duties including dishwashing, equipment maintenance, and trash disposal
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Qualifications:- Previous kitchen or food service experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
