Permanent | Dermatology Physician Assistant TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Dermatology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a full-time permanent opportunity with a growing rural health dermatology practice in North Carolina. This position focuses exclusively on medical dermatology and offers the opportunity to build long-term patient relationships while expanding access to dermatologic care in underserved communities.

Cloudcraft EMRClinical Responsibilities:- Perform comprehensive dermatologic evaluations and full-body skin exams
- Diagnose and manage: Acne, Eczema, Psoriasis, Rosacea, Dermatitis, Fungal infections, Rashes, Skin cancers and precancerous lesions
- Perform dermatologic procedures including: Shave biopsies, Punch biopsies, Excisional biopsies, Cryotherapy, Lesion removal, Wound care management
- Interpret dermatopathology and diagnostic testing
- Develop treatment plans collaboratively with supervising physicians
- Prescribe medications and therapies
- Provide patient education on skin health and disease prevention
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation
Requirements:- Master's degree from an accredited NP or PA program
- Active North Carolina NP or PA license
- National certification required
Required:
Minimum 1 year of dermatology experience (post clinical rotations) under a Board-Certified Dermatologist Strong procedural and diagnostic skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment Must be enrolled or have prior enrollment in Medicare/Medicaid
Required: DCNP or CAQ-Derm credentials or eligible to complete within 12 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience with biopsies, cryotherapy, and lesion removal
- Familiarity with dermatoscopy and EMR systems
- Interest in rural healthcare and continuity of care
- Prior independent dermatology practice experience strongly preferred
