Job Summary: Looking for work close to home? Look no further — this opportunity is right in the heart of Muskegon! A locally based manufacturer specializing in custom fabrication, laser cutting, welding, and tool design is seeking a Laser Operator to join their growing team on 1st Shift. Hours are 5:00am–3:00pm (Monday–Thursday) with overtime as required. This position offers a great opportunity to work in a clean, comfortable facility where you’ll be part of a team focused on precision, quality, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Be Doing: As a Laser Operator, your responsibilities will include:

• Operating and monitoring laser cutting machines to ensure optimal performance and part quality.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, micrometers, and calipers to verify accuracy.
• Troubleshooting machinery to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
• Loading and operating Press Brake machines and removing finished parts into bins or boxes.
• Maintaining production flow by working in a fast-paced environment and meeting established quotas.
• Following safety and operational standards to ensure a secure work environment.
• What We’re Looking ForQualifications:1+ year experience with Press Brake machines recommended
• Ability to read blueprints, micrometers, and calipers required
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve mechanical issues
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbsGED or High School Diploma required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
