Clear Aligner Sales Lead

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)

Compensation: $100K-$130K+ with commission structure | 0.01%-0.05% EquityAbout Wally 84% of Americans want to go to the dentist this year. 40% will. For fifty years, dentistry has run on simple math: get someone in the chair, find something to fix, bill the insurance, charge the patient, repeat. It works for them. It doesn't work for you. Wally is different: No insurance, just a $249 per year membership to get the most modern preventative oral care experience: advanced diagnostics with AI-driven insights AND unlimited Swiss Airflow cleanings. Plus, based on your needs, we offer exclusive access to treatments like cavity reversal so you never need to get drilled again. Unlimited, affordable, and proactive. The future is not more dentistry, it's to do less, better. We recently closed our Series A to scale from 14 locations to 100s of locations across the USA. Our round was led by Maveron, with participation from existing investors including Bling Capital. Maveron, the consumer-focused firm founded by Starbucks' Howard Schultz, invests in companies that fundamentally change how people do everyday things. That's exactly what we're doing with dental care.

The Role: We recently launched Wally Clear Aligners to take on a $10B+ orthodontics market that is still too expensive, inconvenient, and confusing. Our model combines orthodontist-led care, modern diagnostics, remote monitoring, and transparent pricing to make getting a great smile dramatically easier. Now we’re looking for a high-energy, empathetic sales professional to help patients take the leap. You’ll own the journey from first conversation through treatment start—educating prospects, building trust, overcoming objections, and closing. Just as importantly, you’ll help build the sales playbook from the ground up. As Clear Aligners scales, this role has the opportunity to grow quickly in scope, impact, and leadership. What You’ll DoOwn the Pipeline: Manage a high-volume pipeline of inbound prospects across SMS, phone, video, and email. Guide the Decision: Translate treatment plans, doctor notes, consult videos, and before-and-after imagery into clear, compelling conversations that help patients understand their options, expected outcomes, timelines, pricing, and financing — and make confident treatment decisions. Drive Conversion: Consistently achieve and exceed conversion goals from lead to consult to treatment start. Surface Insights: Identify recurring objections, lead-quality trends, and conversion opportunities for Product, Marketing, and Member Experience. Build the Playbook: Help develop the scripts, workflows, tooling, and sales processes that will power Wally Clear Aligners as we scale. What you need to have Consultative Sales Experience: 2+ years in inside sales, treatment coordination, or a similar consultative selling role. Exceptional Communication: Clear, upbeat, empathetic, and confident across phone, video, SMS, and email. High Emotional Intelligence: Ability to build trust and guide anxious or uncertain patients through an important treatment decision. Proven Sales Performance: A track record of meeting or exceeding conversion or sales targets. Comfort with Pace and Accountability: Thrive in a fast-moving, metrics-driven environment with clear goals and high ownership. Passion for the Patient: Genuine excitement about helping people feel better about their smile, health, and overall experience.
