ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Meet the individual needs of children by engaging with them through play, exploration, and learning opportunitiesCommunicate effectively, respectfully, and professionally with parents, guardians, and fellow staff membersFoster a positive, inclusive, and welcoming environment where children feel valued and supportedAssist in designing and maintaining an After School space that supports active supervision and meets the developmental needs of childrenSupport children in completing their schoolwork, and offering guidance and encouragement as neededCommunicate frequently with Site Director and Assistant DirectorsMonitor and ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times, following all JCC and OCFS safety guidelinesParticipate in staff meetings and contribute to team planning and reflectionComplete the required number of annual training hours in accordance with New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) regulationsPerform additional duties as assigned by the Site Director or program leadershipCompensation details: 19-22 Hourly WagePIe6dfe869c4ec-38003-38251806
