Embroidery Technician / SeamstressAMAYzing Signs is looking for a talented and dependable Embroidery Technician / Seamstress to join our team in Brooklyn, Iowa. This is a part-time opportunity for someone with professional sewing experience who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Position Details:
- Job Type: Part-Time* Hours: Approximately 24 hours per week* Pay: $16-$18 per hour* Location: Brooklyn, IAResponsibilities* Operate embroidery equipment to produce high-quality embroidered products* Perform sewing, stitching, and garment finishing* Prepare materials and garments for embroidery* Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy* Follow embroidery and sewing specifications* Maintain a clean and organized work area* Assist with other production tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months of professional seamstress experience* Professional sewing experience in a work environment required* Physical ability to perform the essential functions of the position, including standing, working with materials, and repetitive hand and arm movements* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality* Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional industrial embroidery experience preferred* Experience operating commercial or industrial embroidery machines* Experience working in a custom apparel, sign, promotional products, or production environment
