Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee daily production operations and lead manufacturing employees in a fast-paced environment. This position is responsible for ensuring production goals are met while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, efficiency, and employee performance. Candidates must be comfortable working a rotating shift schedule, alternating between first and second shift based on operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily manufacturing and production activities
- Lead, train, coach, and support production employees
- Monitor production schedules, workflow, output, and staffing requirements
- Ensure production goals and quality standards are consistently achieved
- Identify and address production delays, downtime, and operational issues
- Enforce company safety policies, procedures, and manufacturing standards
- Monitor employee performance, attendance, productivity, and training
- Work closely with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and other departments to resolve production issues
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste
- Maintain accurate production documentation and reports
- Ensure employees follow established procedures and work instructions
- Promote a safe, organized, and productive manufacturing environment
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing or production supervisory experience
- Experience leading and managing production employees
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production schedules, quality, and safety
- Ability to troubleshoot production issues and make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience with continuous improvement practices such as 5S, Lean, or Kaizen is preferred
- Knowledge of GMP or regulated manufacturing environments is a plus
- Must be comfortable working rotating first and second shifts
- Ability to work Monday–Friday and adjust between shifts as required
Compensation & Benefits
Salary:
$60,000–$80,000 annually, based on experience. This is a direct-hire opportunity offering company-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance, along with 401(k), PTO, and additional company benefits.
