Looking to build your career in Health & Safety and Facilities Management?
We're working with a growing advanced manufacturing business in Seattle looking for a hands-on, motivated individual to support Health & Safety and Facilities operations at their site.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with some experience in workplace safety, EHS coordination, facilities or a similar environment who is looking to take the next step in their career.
You don't need to be a Health & Safety expert. We're looking for someone who is practical, organised, willing to learn and confident getting involved in day-to-day site activities.
You'll work closely with experienced UK-based Health & Safety and Facilities teams, gaining exposure to both disciplines while becoming an important point of contact for the Seattle site.
Health & Safety
Supporting the implementation of workplace safety procedures and policies.
Carrying out site inspections, identifying hazards and following up on improvements.
Assisting with risk assessments, safety documentation and incident investigations.
Helping ensure compliance with OSHA and Washington State safety regulations.
Facilities & Site Support
Supporting the day-to-day running and upkeep of the facility.
Carrying out minor maintenance, repairs and general workshop/site improvements.
Coordinating contractors for building maintenance and facilities services.
Supporting workshop layouts, equipment moves and site improvements.
Working with the wider team to keep the site safe, organised and operational.
Some previous experience in Health & Safety, EHS, facilities, maintenance or site operations.
A genuine interest in developing a career across Health & Safety and Facilities.
Ability to work independently, manage priorities and take initiative.
Experience within manufacturing, engineering, workshops, laboratories or industrial environments would be particularly beneficial.
Washington State safety regulations would be advantageous, but you don't need to know everything from day one.
Work alongside experienced Health & Safety and Facilities professionals.
~ If you've started building experience in Health & Safety or Facilities and are looking for an opportunity to develop further, we'd love to hear from you.
