The Machinist I demonstrates the ability to perform simple machining repairs and tasks under direct supervision and is often a helper on most jobs while learning and developing technical skills. The Machinist will machine cylinder blocks using CNC machines and manual lathes. The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices daily:
