Maintenance Department Support Support maintenance department with data entry, spare parts inventory control, documentation procedures, parts procurement and ordering.
Essential Functions:- Communicate information pertaining to inventory, and receiving within the organization in order to maximize maintenance and production capability.
- Request quotes and process purchasing orders as required
- Perform physical count of inventory, reconciles records, purchases orders and actual stock count to computer database.
- Process and/or approve and code invoices for payment.
- Perform routine clerical duties, including data entry, filing, answering phones.
- Post receiving's in system
- Assist the maintenance manager as needed in purchasing and expediting of maintenance parts.
- Order office supplies and materials.
- Process and track preventive maintenance work orders in maintenance system.
- Reconcile credit card statements
- Scope Of Responsibility
- Use a relatively high degree of concentration and attention to maintain maintenance repair parts inventory organized by parts location system. Follow up with Vendors as necessary to track ETA of needed materials.
- Job Specifications
Education: High school or GED; Further education or certification is preferred
Experience: Purchasing experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal skills in order to work effectively with individuals both internal and external to Kiswire Inc.
The ability to utilize various personal computers, which includes but not limited to spreadsheets, word processing and database software.
Must be very flexible to ever changing workloads and responsibilities.
Ability to communicate and work effectively with all levels of the company.
Working Environment
Physical Demands:
Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally Visual, Hearing and Dexterity Demands: Must have normal hearing. Must have normal visual acuity with the ability to distinguish colors and depth perception
Working Conditions:
Noisy and dusty environment. Can be subject to variations in heat normal for a non-air-conditioned manufacturing environment.
