Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner

Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing patient assessmentsDiagnose mental health disorders and provide evidence-based treatment, including care for patients with substance use disordersDevelop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans with a focus on patient safety and harm reductionPrescribe and manage psychiatric medications as appropriateMonitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as neededMeet productivity and billing expectationsProvide coverage for team members during vacations to ensure continuity of care Documentation & Compliance Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, and billing formsEnsure compliance with all federal, state, and organizational regulations, including HIPAA Collaboration & Professional Development Work closely with physicians, psychotherapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient careParticipate in regular clinical supervision with the Medical DirectorAssist with training and onboarding of new staff or trainees as needed Qualifications Current certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Experience working with diverse patient populations, including individuals with substance use disordersStrong communication and collaboration skillsCommitment to patient confidentiality and regulatory compliance Compensation Annual salary range: $145,600 $185,120 Compensation is based on factors such as experience, education, training, certifications, job responsibilities, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws.
