Job Description $19-$24/hr + gas allowance Full-Time Fresno, CABlok Construction & Maintenance is hiring one skilled maintenance technician with a background in either landscaping or painting to join our team. We maintain approximately 500,000 SF of Class A commercial office and retail properties in Fresno. This is a hands-on, all-trades role with real room to grow - not a dead-end gig. The Quick Version: You bring the landscaping or painting skills. We teach you the rest. You will work on some of the best commercial properties in the Central Valley alongside a small, experienced crew where your work actually matters. Starting pay is $19/hour and moves up based on how good you are, how fast you work, and the quality you put out. Day to Day:
- General building maintenance across commercial properties - HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, flooring, doors, locks, ceilings
- If landscaping is your trade: grounds maintenance, irrigation and sprinkler repair, pressure washing, and site work across the portfolio
- If painting is your trade: interior and exterior commercial painting with a focus on efficiency and clean finish work
- Respond to tenant work orders and occasional emergency calls
- Support tenant improvement build-outs and coordinate with subcontractors
Requirements:- 2+ years hands-on experience in landscaping OR painting (commercial or residential)
- Willing to learn and cross-train into other maintenance trades
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently without supervision
- Professional around tenants and property managers
- Valid driver's license, clean record, and personal vehicle (gas allowance provided)
Bonus:- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Experience with HVAC, plumbing, or electrical beyond your primary trade
