Role Description:
The Salesperson role is a full-time, on-site position located in Saginaw, MI. This role involves greeting customers, assessing their needs, and recommending appropriate footwear and accessories based on safety requirements, comfort, and style preferences. Day-to-day activities include fitting customers for shoes and boots, maintaining product knowledge, handling sales transactions, and ensuring the sales floor is clean, organized, and well-stocked. The Salesperson will also assist with inventory checks, restocking shelves, and merchandising displays to highlight key products and promotions. This position requires consistent, professional communication, accurate cash handling, and the ability to support a positive team environment.
Qualifications:
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to actively listen and provide tailored recommendations.
Sales and retail experience, including familiarity with point-of-sale systems and basic cash handling procedures.
Ability to learn and retain detailed product knowledge, including fit, features, and safety standards related to footwear.
Reliable organizational and time management skills to handle multiple customer needs and maintain store standards.
Comfort with standing for extended periods, lifting boxes, and performing routine physical tasks in a retail environment.
