What We Offer: $18.00 per hour1st shift, Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PMNo rotating shifts or weekendsOvertime may be availableHealth benefits, including telehealth medical servicesOpportunity for advancementReferral bonusesWhat We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or GED preferred 1+ year(s) of experienceProficient computer skills including Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and Outlook 3+ years of experience in an industrial customer service role working with sales, engineering and manufacturing teams is requiredSystem proficiency using Great Plains ERP or similar application is requiredMust possess a professional demeanor and telephone etiquetteExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMust be organized and detail oriented with the ability to multi-taskPossess proven analytical/problem solving solutions for the customer and the companyMust possess excellent customer service and data entry skillsGeneral knowledge of sales and manufacturing office functionsAbility to identify issues, make decisions, and resolve problemsWhat You'll Do as a Customer Service RepresentativeHandle any customer questions or concerns regarding project status or other related issuesMaintain customer files both physical and electronicallyAnswer phones promptly / courteously and receive, process authorized orders /changes/returns directly from the customer according to established company policies and proceduresProvide standard information regarding service options, charges, billing, and contract parametersWork closely with production staff and external vendors to communicate customer information concerning guidelines and production schedulesWork with Sales team to process new part number and quote requests, complete forecasts and identify prospects, submitting quote letters to customers and communicating customer issuesReceive and respond professionally and courteously to all customer inquiries regarding service level changes, order status, customer disputes, billing questions, cancellations, product knowledge requests, and prospect requestsEnter and prepare all paperwork for shipping department and Site / Plant manager and generate daily invoices for customersCoordinate with production to ensure scheduling is maximized and all deliveries are on-timeManage / maintain assigned customer inventories including reviewing stocks & placing orders and shipmentsWork directly with Account Managers and Tech Centers regarding updated pricing, order information and other issuesMaintain customer profiles, assigned files & computer records including pricing information, phone lists, purchase order requisitions/receipts, quote log for Technical CentersEnsure customer concerns are understood and clearly explain resolution to the customerWork closely and effectively with the credit department to resolve disputed credit items and investigate short-paid invoicesWork in conjunction with other departments to resolve customer issuesMaintain a positive work atmosphere with a culture of respect for othersPerform other tasks as assigned
