Senior Strategic Finance Manager

Role Overview: We are seeking a finance professional to lead a team responsible for financial analysis, strategic modeling, and business decision support. This role combines financial forecasting and operational analysis with valuation modeling and strategic project work, providing exposure to complex business decisions and opportunities to influence financial performance. The ideal candidate brings strong financial modeling skills, sound commercial judgment, and the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable recommendations for senior leadership. Professionals with backgrounds in transaction advisory, financial due diligence, corporate finance, or investment banking who are interested in transitioning into a corporate finance leadership role may be particularly well suited.

Key Responsibilities: Lead and develop a financial analysis team, prioritizing initiatives and strengthening analytical capabilities. Oversee financial forecasting, budgeting, and expense analysis to support business planning and financial performance. Develop valuation models and assess the financial implications of business initiatives, investments, and strategic opportunities. Evaluate profitability, financial exposure, and potential risks associated with new and existing business offerings. Support strategic initiatives through financial modeling, business case development, valuation analysis, and ad hoc projects. Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate revenue trends, cost drivers, and opportunities to improve financial performance. Translate complex financial data into clear insights and executive-level presentations to support strategic decision-making. Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and data analytics to improve modeling accuracy and analytical efficiency. Core Skills & Competencies Strong background in financial modeling, valuation, forecasting, and quantitative analysis. Experience evaluating financial performance, profitability, business cases, and investment opportunities. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with financial and data analytics tools. Familiarity with AI-enabled tools, automation, and data-driven decision support. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information. Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain financial conclusions to senior stakeholders. Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing, mentoring, and developing team members.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field. At least six years of relevant experience in financial analysis, transaction advisory, financial due diligence, investment banking, corporate finance, or a related discipline. Prior experience managing or leading finance professionals. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.

Preferred Qualifications: MBA, MS in Finance, or another relevant advanced degree. Experience in transaction services, financial due diligence, valuation, or corporate development. Background in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, or strategic finance. Experience with business case analysis, complex valuations, and financial risk assessment. Exposure to data analytics, AI tools, or automation applied to financial analysis.
