Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) - La Jolla, CAA healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced emergency and urgent care environment. Responsibilities:- Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on clinical urgency
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as prescribed
- Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate care
- Assist with emergency procedures, stabilization efforts, and patient transfers when necessary
- Educate patients and family members regarding treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Support quality improvement initiatives and patient safety standards
- Adapt to assignments across emergency and urgent care settings as needed
- Provide compassionate care while maintaining efficiency in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility for licensure
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred or required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred or required
- Previous emergency department or urgent care nursing experience required
- Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in high-acuity clinical environments
