Production Operator:
Winston, Salem NC$40K-$45KOur client is a fast-growing chemical manufacturing company based in the UK, expanding into the US for the first time. They manufacture, blend, and pack chemicals for customers across many industries, from automotive and construction to life sciences.
The Role:
As a Production Operator, you'll be part of the team responsible for safely manufacturing and packaging high-quality chemical products. This is a hands-on role involving batch production, equipment operation, quality checks, and accurate documentation. You'll work closely with the wider operations and quality teams to ensure production runs efficiently, safely, and in line with company procedures and OSHA requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Manufacture and package chemical batches
- Safely handle and transfer hazardous chemicals
- Carry out in-process quality checks and complete production records accurately
- Operate production equipment and carry out basic troubleshooting
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
- Support continuous improvement activities across safety, quality, and efficiency
- Skills & Experience
- Essential Experience in chemical manufacturing, batch processing, or industrial production
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs and written instructions
- Safety-focused with a proactive and professional attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working under pressure and meeting production deadlines
- Familiarity with SDS documentation and hazardous material handling
- Experience with basic lab testing, including pH, titration, viscosity, or solids analysis
- Experience using Microsoft Office 365 or manufacturing software systems
- High school diploma or equivalent
