Mechanical Engineer

Position Overview: We are seeking a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to support manufacturing operations, equipment installations, process improvements, and production efficiency initiatives. This individual will work directly on the production floor, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, optimizing manufacturing processes, and supporting new equipment implementation.

Key Responsibilities: Lead hands-on process improvements, troubleshooting, and production optimization. Support installation, setup, testing, and commissioning of manufacturing equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and control components. Conduct time studies, capacity analysis, line balancing, and quality testing. Develop manufacturing layouts, improve workflows, and implement Lean manufacturing initiatives. Analyze production data and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, safety, and quality.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.5+ years of hands-on manufacturing engineering experience. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Working knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, electrical controls, and industrial equipment. Experience with Lean manufacturing, process improvement, and production equipment installations. CAD experience required; CREO preferred. Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP/MRP systems. Comfortable working directly on the manufacturing floor and traveling internationally as needed.
