About the Role: The Company is in search of up to six passionate individuals aged 18-24 to join its Board's Youth Steering Committee. This volunteer role is pivotal in the lead-up to a National Young Preservation Summit, where the focus will be on brainstorming, planning, and implementing creative programming ideas for local outreach. Committee members will also have the opportunity to share these innovative approaches with other summit attendees. The ideal candidates for this position are those who are dedicated to the engagement of young people in historic preservation and are willing to contribute their time and energy to this important work. In addition to the summit-related activities, the committee members may be invited to assist with the company's events and are also needed as presenters for an educational program designed to teach grade school children about preservation. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that is at the forefront of preserving history and culture for future generations. Applicants should be enthusiastic, creative, and committed to the mission of the company. While the position is not a voting role on the Board, it is a valuable experience that can be included on a resume as board service.
