Spiral Winding Machine Operator Responsibilities* Set up, start, operate, and shut down the high-speed spiral winding machine.* Monitor machine operation to maintain consistent production speed, quality, and efficiency.* Monitor machine uptime and performance and make adjustments as needed.* Troubleshoot tube quality issues and make appropriate machine adjustments.* Load raw materials, including large paper rolls, onto the machine as required.* Periodically lift paper rolls weighing up to 30 pounds onto the production system.* Monitor equipment for unusual noises, odors, or erratic machine behavior and report concerns to management or maintenance.* Complete accurate daily production reports and documentation.* Perform routine equipment cleaning and basic maintenance as required.* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.* Follow all food safety procedures, machine safety requirements, and company policies.* Work as part of a team to meet daily production and quality goals.* Perform other duties as assigned. Spiral Winding Machine Operator Requirements* Previous manufacturing, machine operation, production, or industrial experience is preferred.* Mechanical experience is a plus.* Ability to learn machine controls, touchscreen systems, and production procedures.* Ability to troubleshoot basic machine and product quality issues.* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.* Good communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.* Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.* Ability to lift paper rolls weighing up to 30 pounds.* Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive production tasks.* Ability to work safely around moving machinery and production equipment.* Ability to follow food safety, cleanliness, and machine safety standards.* Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.* Willingness to work overtime during busy production periods, as needed.
