Help Elderly Participants Settle Safely and Comfortably at HomeWe're looking for compassionate, patient volunteers to support local participants who have recently moved and need a helping hand settling into their homes. This is a simple but meaningful way to make an immediate impact on someone's daily comfort and independence. Volunteers will provide light, practical support such as: Helping unpack boxes Organizing essential items (kitchenware, clothing, bathroom items, etc.)Arranging belongings in safe, accessible places Offering friendly conversation and reassurance These tasks help participants regain a sense of stability and ease; your presence truly makes a difference. Flexible! Even 1–2 hours of assistance is incredibly valuable. This is an ongoing opportunity, and we regularly match volunteers with participants located closest to your area to minimize travel. Multiple Elder Place participants across Seattle, Lynnwood, West Seattle, Des Moines, and surrounding areas are awaiting support. You will be matched with someone near your preferred area whenever possible.
