Job Summary:
As a Body Shop Helper, you'll assist technicians with a variety of tasks, including prepping vehicles, maintaining a clean workspace, moving vehicles, and organizing tools and parts. No prior experience is required, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential.
Responsibilities:- Assist body technicians with vehicle preparation and minor repair tasks
- Will work with the body shop technicians, painters, estimators, and detailers to ensure the best customer service experience.
- Ordering parts that are needed for repairs and keeping all parts needed for repair in order.
- Examines damaged vehicles and performs the repairs per the estimate.
- Documenting all work performed.
- Will clean the shop after the vehicle has been repaired and returned to the customer
- Will do a post-repair inspection and road test.
Qualifications:- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Pass a background check and drug screen
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
