Lead and develop a team of 2-3 investment accounting professionals while gaining exposure to senior leadership, portfolio managers, auditors, and clients. Investment Accounting has experienced significant growth, expanding from 24 to 37 team members over the last four years. Flexible hybrid schedule with remote Mondays and Fridays, plus the entire first week of each month remote during month-end close. Key Responsibilities for the Investment Accounting Manager: The Investment Accounting Manager will manage monthly investment accounting close processes, reconciliations, analysis, and financial reporting for assigned clients. Oversee preparation and review of STAT, GAAP, and IFRS investment reporting and regulatory filings, including Schedule D reporting. Lead, mentor, and develop investment accounting staff while ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of client reporting. Serve as a primary contact for clients, auditors, custodians, and portfolio managers regarding accounting matters and reporting requests. Drive process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and support new client onboarding and departmental growth initiatives. Qualifications for the Investment Accounting Manager: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business field 5+ years of progressive accounting experience within insurance, investment management, or financial services. Strong investment accounting and financial reporting expertise, including STAT, GAAP, and/or IFRS reporting.
