A Neurology trained Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is needed in the Neurology department of a multispecialty clinic in the Bronx, NY 10458.
Compensation: $160,000 - $180,000 annually
Benefits: Health, vision and dental insurance, life and disability insurance, PTO.
Schedule:
Full Time Monday - Friday 9am-5pm. After hours and weekend coverage not required!
Location: Bronx, NY 10458
Setting: Outpatient multispecialty clinic
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive neurological histories and physical exams.
- Order and interpret neurological diagnostic tests (MRI, CT, EEG, EMG, lumbar punctures, labs)
- Perform procedures such as trigger point injections, nerve blocks, or lumbar punctures (TPI training provided)
- Provide post‑procedure monitoring and patient education
- Collaborate with physicians, other nurses, and clinical staff
- Document encounters using EHR system eClinicalworksQualificationsCurrent Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in New YorkActive DEA License (or willingness to obtain one)1+ years of Neuro experience as an NP or PAFluency in Spanish is a plus but not required
