Overview:
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced HVAC Technicians for projects located in or around Fort Wayne, IN. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $42/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a HVAC Technician and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!
Job Scope:
- Install HVAC systems and associated components
- Troubleshoot and service HVAC equipment
- Read and interpret schematic drawings and diagrams
- Diagnose system issues and perform repairs
- Replace faulty HVAC components and equipment
- Install compressors and condensers
- Perform preventative maintenance and system testing
- Ensure all work meets manufacturer specifications and industry standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Requirements:
- Previous HVAC installation and service experience
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams
- Experience with compressor and condenser installations
- Knowledge of HVAC system repair and component replacement
- Must have tools of the trade
- Proper PPE required
- Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team
