SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory's SSRL seeks a controls and protection systems engineer blending hardware, software, and beamline science to keep protection systems and accelerator operations running while developing motion control and safety systems for experimental equipment. You will build HMIs, GUIs, and dashboards, document interlocks and I/O, and work with scientists and technicians to ensure safety and reliability of the storage ring and instrumentation, with occasional 24/7 support.
