As an experienced Metal Finishing team member, you'll play an important role in producing quality metal products for our customers. You'll work with production equipment, move parts through the finishing process, and use your skills and attention to detail to make sure every part meets our quality standards.
What You'll Do:- Set up and operate production and metal finishing equipment
- Load and unload metal parts and move them through the production process
- Deburr and grind metal to achieve the proper surface finish
- Read gauges and follow manufacturing instructions, routings, blueprints, and visual aids
- Inspect parts and ensure they meet quality specifications
- Identify and communicate equipment or quality issues to leads or management
- Work independently to complete assigned tasks while meeting quality and production expectations
- Record production information and use our systems to track your work
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
What You BringWe're looking for someone who is dependable, safety-minded, detail-oriented, and willing to learn. You should be comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment and able to follow written and verbal instructions.
Basic math and communication skills
Ability to learn and operate production equipment
Ability to read and follow work instructions
Manufacturing experience is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and work on your feet throughout the workday
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs.
