Cook- Line, FT

Location: Judson Park, Des Moines, WA Full time- Must be available Saturdays and Sundays We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and motivated cook to join our culinary team. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen and takes pride in preparing quality meals while maintaining excellent food safety and sanitation standards.

Position Details: Full-Time Position Weekend availability required Early morning and breakfast experience strongly preferred High-volume production environment Fast-paced kitchen setting

Responsibilities: Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Execute breakfast, lunch, and dinner service as assigned Maintain food quality, presentation, and portion control Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelines Work efficiently during busy service periods Assist with prep, production, and station organization Maintain a clean and organized work area Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Qualifications: Previous professional cooking experience required Experience in healthcare, senior living, or institutional food service preferred Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices Experience preparing meals for special dietary needs is a plus Experience with textured diets (minced, ground, chopped, and pureed foods) is highly desirable Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
