Line CooksThe Granite Grill Glenlake in Raleigh, North Carolina, is hiring part-time and full-timeline cooksto join our opening team of this highly anticipated new full-service restaurant.
Training will begin in November. We are looking for passionate, skilled culinary professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy creating delicious dishes from scratch. Line cooks will receive thorough training on our kitchen and safety procedures, menu recipes and plating, and company standards to ensure all guests have an excellent dining experience every time.
Line cooks are essential to the success of the kitchen and help deliver exceptional meals by: Following recipes and plating instructions for all menu items to meet our high standards
Working efficiently to ensure timely and accurate food delivery in a fast-paced setting
Maintaining a clean and organized workstation, following food safety protocols
Operating kitchen equipment efficiently and safely
Communicating effectively with kitchen staff and service team to ensure smooth service
What we are looking forKitchen experience in a full service, high-volume restaurant
Strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen equipment, cooking techniques, and knife skills
Ability to multitask in a busy kitchen environment
Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
Must be 18 years of age, able to lift up to 30lbs, and able to stand/move about the kitchen for the duration of the shift

Our stylish new space includes a well-stocked bar, spacious covered patio, comfy leather booths, and a cozy private event space.
