Real-Time Simulation Model DeveloperYou will build the real-time simulation models that drive the HIL bench — plasma source, power delivery, thermal and actuator models — in OPAL-RT and Simulink, working closely with the on-site lead in the US.
What you'll do:
Develop, parameterize and validate plant models in MATLAB/Simulink and port them to OPAL-RT targets (RT-LAB / HYPERSIM) Build I/O configurations, signal routing and fault-injection scenarios for the benchTune model fidelity against reference data and document model assumptions and limitsSupport closed-loop integration runs with the US lead; analyze results and iterate modelsProduce model documentation, test evidence and weekly status inputsWhat you bring:4–7 years in control systems, power electronics simulation or real-time modellingHands-on OPAL-RT or equivalent (dSPACE, Speedgoat, Typhoon HIL) experience — mandatoryStrong MATLAB/Simulink, Stateflow; C/C++ for S-functionsUnderstanding of power converters, PWM control, PID/state-space control, and sensor/actuator modellingBE/ME in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or ControlsNice to have: FPGA-based I/O (eFPGASIM), Python scripting, experience with laser/plasma/RF system
