Job Description:
D-Zee Textiles is hiring a Forklift Driver / Warehouse Associate for our distribution center in Knoxville, TN.This is a combo role — forklift operation and general warehouse labor.
Pay: $ 18/hr | Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
What you'll do:- Operate forklifts to load and unload freight safely and efficiently
- Use pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment for daily material handling
- Receive, stack, and organize merchandise according to established procedures
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment — verifying the exact product type and quantity on every order
- Perform routine inventory counts
- Inspect inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy and damage
- Print and scan shipping documents and labels
What we're looking for:- Forklift experience required (certification a plus)
- Basic math, reading, writing, and organizational skills
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs — this is an active role with frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping, and reaching
- Someone who learns the shipping process quickly and looks for ways to improve it
